Exploring Peach Fuzz

Pantone’s choice of Peach Fuzz as the colour of the year is a testament to subdued yet uplifting aesthetics. This warm peachy tone evokes optimism, nostalgia, and gentle romanticism. Pairing well with a variety of shades, Peach Fuzz is a versatile colour that can be both the star of the show and the perfect complement to your wedding’s overall palette. It’s a symbol of a fresh start, making it a meaningful choice for couples celebrating their union.

The Psychology of Colour for Weddings

Colour plays a significant role in our emotions and perceptions, and when it comes to weddings, the choice of hues is crucial. Peach Fuzz could represent a couple’s intention to infuse their union with warmth, trust, and a spirit of adventure. By understanding the psychology behind colours, brides and stationery designers can curate experiences that resonate deeply with their intended audience.

How to Select the Best Stationery Materials

Incorporating Pantone’s colour of the year into your wedding invitations, save-the-dates, place cards, and other stationery can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. The secret lies in the details and the thoughtful application of this special hue.

Crafting the Perfect Peach Fuzz Wedding Stationery

From card weights to texture, the materials you choose can influence the final look and feel of your Peach Fuzz wedding stationery. Opt for materials that can hold both the colour and embellishments, such as digital foil for a touch of luxury or silk ribbon for charm.

Design Considerations for Peach Fuzz Invitations

When designing Peach Fuzz wedding invitations, think about how the colour can enhance the overall aesthetic. Will you use it as a base with bold lettering? Or perhaps as the ink colour for delicate illustrations? Balancing Peach Fuzz with white or darker tones can create contrast and make text and designs pop. Be sure to also take into account the readability and ensure that the information is clear and easy to follow.

If you’re feeling creative, consider adding a personal touch to your Peach Fuzz wedding stationery with wax seals, pressed flowers and silk can elevate the invitations into one-of-a-kind works of art.

A simple monogram, an intricate pattern, or a lovely venue illustration can be the focal point that ties your theme together.

The Longevity of Wedding Stationery

Wedding invitations often serve as keepsakes, reminders of the love and joy shared on that special day. When you choose to incorporate Peach Fuzz into your design, you’re selecting a shade that will continue to be cherished for years. In a world where trends come and go, the timeless quality of Peach Fuzz ensures that your stationery will remain as beautiful as the day it was received.
Peach Fuzz is more than an on-trend colour—it’s a statement of love, unity, and new beginnings. By infusing your wedding stationery with this gentle hue, you’re not just following the Pantone forecast; you’re creating a tactile experience that will be remembered long after the celebrations have ended. Whether you’re a bride-to-be or a stationery designer, Peach Fuzz provides a canvas to create the most heartfelt and lovely invitations. It’s time to craft a wedding experience that’s as beautiful and unique as Pantone’s colour of the year.

Very Peri - Pantone Colour of the Year 2022

The Pantone Institute has announced a brand new colour for Pantone Colour of the Year 2022: Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri. The “courageous” periwinkle shade Very Peri encourages personal inventiveness and creativity. This is the first time that a brand new shade has been created.

Pantone states that Very Peri is the “happiest and warmest of all the blue hues” because it “blends the faithfulness and constancy of blue with the energy and excitement of red”.

“As we move into a world of unprecedented change, the selection of Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri brings a novel perspective and vision of the trusted and beloved blue colour family,” says Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman.

Pantone indicates that the shade makes for a “novel statement” when used for eyes, nails and “especially” hair.

It’s a lovely soft, warm and welcoming shade perfect for weddings.  Lilacs have always been a popular wedding choice but Very Peri brings a new contemporary dimension, especially valuable for wedding stationery. Ulta Violet - Pantone Colour of the Year 2018

The PANTONE® colour of the year is Ultra Violet, a luxurious blue-based purple; a regal colour with drama and inner depth. Associated with the cosmos it’s complex and appealing to those who are energized by other-worldly beauty or calm, understated chic.

Ultra Violet has long been associated with relaxing environments, spiritual and mystical settings so will be loved by those who practice mindfulness and have a love of nature and all its elements. With gothic overtones Ultra Violet is a deep and rich choice for those who are confident and dare to be different.

A stunning wedding colour Ultra Violet works brilliantly all year round with white, ivory or black. For bold contrast it coordinates beautifully with oranges, tangerines and acid greens making it a stunning choice for a summer wedding with all the zingy foliage and gorgeous flowers available. For winter weddings choose copper, platinum and deep jewel accent colours, dried flower crowns and lots of twigs and evergreens in your wedding venue styling. ‘Cadbury Purple’, a warmer tone, has always been a fabulous choice for weddings and we know it works brilliantly but ultra violet is the first colour we believe actually embodies a state of mind and way of life.
